Frequently Asked Questions

Where and when should I wait for the Transfer bus?

When booking your reservation online please indicate your Hotel name or Address. (Keep in mind that we are able to offer complimentary transfer service only for locations within 10km radius from our port of Puerto Colon. To be a bit more precise, that is usually Only; Costa Adeje, Playa Paraiso, Callao Salvaje, Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos). We will contact you after you have made your reservation with confirmation of the pick up time. We reccomend you to be ready 10 min before the time informed, as situations may vary slightly due to traffic conditions.

Where and when should I be if coming direct/with own transport?

We are departuring from Dock (Pantalan) # 6 in Puerto Colon, Playa de Las Americas. There is a public car park available right at the marina. One of our Staff will meet you at Dock (Pantalan) # 6 approximately 10-15 min prior to the departure time.

How do I make changes or cancelations of my booking?

If you need to change or cancel a booking please contact us by email at info@montecristocatamaran.com or by phone at +34 661553308. Please know that changes or modifications won't be accepted if canceled less than 24hrs(private charter trips 72h) prior to the departure time.

Is there food or drinks included on this trip?

Yes, throughout the tour we serve drinks (Wine, Cava, Beer, Soft Branded Sodas, Juice and Bottled Water). We also serve Spanish/Mediterranean style tapas with a selection of delicious local appetizers and snacks once we stop for our scheduled swim break.

What should I wear and what should I bring on the tour ?

We suggest to wear anything casual with comfortable shoes. When boarding, we recommend our passangers to be barefoot on board. Additionally, we stop at a bay for the swimming and snorkeling part of our tour, therefore we kindly suggest you bring bathing attire, towels, sun protective cream, sunglasses and a hat.

Does it get cold during the Sunset Tour?

It depends on the day and the season of course. Within the last 20-30 min of the trip, after the sun sets, it can get a bit cooler and therefore we have blankets available. Nevertheles, we recommend to take a light jacket or a sweater just in case.

What happens if the weather and ocean conditions are not good and we have our tour canceled by the company?

In the rare case of canceled tour due to the elements, you will be offered an option to change your trip to a later day or time. If you are unable to change to a later tour, you will be refunded fully.

Will I get seasick on this tour?

This depends on many different factors. Though our catamaran is purposely built to have a better stabilty and control, we would like to make sure that our passangers understand that the trip takes place in the open ocean, where occasionally the swell conditions can create discomfort and sometimes may cause dizziness for some.
If you are afraid that you might not feel well or have had a history of motion sickness, we advise you to consult with your doctor or a pharmacist to prescribe you a motion sickness tablet.
